Wakefield Assembly comprises voluntary and community organisations who have come together to shape a strong and powerful voice for the sector within the District. By connecting groups with a common charitable ethos it aims to:
- influence change
- affect local policy development and delivery
- give groups the opportunity to work together
- communicate relevant information directly to organisations
- enable accountable and appropriate representation on strategic bodies.
